Come join us!

Established in 2021, we are Port Fairy's very first Little Athletics Centre to be affiliated with Little Athletics Victoria. We enjoyed a successful inaugural 2022/2023 season with 138 members, and we look forward to welcoming new members to our centre.

Little Athletics is a nation-wide modified athletics program for children aged 5-16 years, where children participate and compete once a week, learning the many disciplines of athletics. Athletics teaches fundamental movement skills that are critical for many other sports. The summer athletics season generally runs from September to March (during school terms), where children participate in a suite of athletics events such as sprinting, hurdles, endurance running, long jump, triple jump, high jump, discus, shot put and javelin. There are also opportunities to compete in championship events, skills clinics, and workshops. Little Athletics is a community orientated sport, abiding by the motto ‘Family, Fun & Fitness’.
